2023 Hyundai Palisade 

Once again, Hyundai has rolled out its largest SUV with a wide selection of trims. The 2023 Hyundai Palisade steps out on the Minnesota roads with a high-end cabin design, reliable powertrain, innovative safety features, and an affordable price point.  

The most notable visual update is changing the waterfall grille with a new and improved design grille which looks bigger and bolder, keeping in line with the latest trends. Hyundai has also put a new lighting arrangement, with daytime running lights extending outwards instead of drawing back inside.  

Positioning of lighting components is also different. Instead of being on bumper’s inside, vertical daytime running lights (DRLs) now extend on the outer sides. Beneath the hood line, turn signals seamlessly meld into DRLs, while primary headlights are located lower in front. 

Hyundai has introduced brand-new rim designs ranging in size from 18″ in SE and SEL to 20″ alloy wheels in the Limited trim. Meanwhile, both the XRT and Calligraphy feature exclusive 20″ alloy wheels. Delicate touches on the Calligraphy’s exterior, like neat chrome work and body-colored bumpers, are all telling signs of a higher-class trim. 

New Hyundai Palisade’sinterior work shows a focus on innovation and diversity. Drivers can choose from black, ivory, and cognac to lay against the wood or aluminum finish. Palisade drivers can arrange seven or eight seats inside, with easy access to all rows and optional heating features for the third-row passengers. 

The 12.3″ central touchscreen, updated HVAC air vents, and controls, new quality materials for dash and door trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and extra cabin lighting are just a few of interior improvements. 

In addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which come as standard, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade features auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless charging, and enough USB type-C ports to keep passengers happy.

For the 2023 model, Hyundai continues using a proven 3.8-Liter GDI V6 engine with 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission distributes power to front wheels, which are standard on all trims, or to TRAC AWD platform. This vehicle now has a new TOW mode, modifying its engine to hold gears for a longer period and decrease shifting response frequency.
