New Hyundai Sonata

The new Sonata makes its boldest statement by creating a future-forward exterior design that is unique and class-leading. The sleek profile lends to a coupe-like roofline that bridges a very low front end and a very compelling rear deck. It is the first vehicle in its price class to be fully accessed by a smartphone app – you can lock and unlock the doors without using the actual key by clicking on the screen of your phone. We call this the Hyundai Digital Key.

You will find a pair of LED daytime running lights that go all the way up into the hood. Not to mention the full-length LED tail lights our back, framing the trunk.

Once inside, you are treated to the most advanced interior in Hyundai history. The fully-digital cockpit gives you all of the information you need right in front of you, customized to the way you want to see it. Yu also get the Blind Spot View Monitor for both sides of the Sonata. There is a 10.25-inch wide-screen infotainment system that is enabled to connect to your device seamlessly through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Five passengers will find comfort inside of our enlarged cabin space. A large 16.0 cubic feet trunk is expandable for longer items by folding down the rear seats.

Standard on the Sonata is a 191-horsepower 2.4-liter engine driving the front wheels. SEL Plus and Limited models receive a 180-horsepower 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 195 pound-feet of torque for passing and on-ramp power. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission designed for efficiency. The Sonata can get up to 38 MPG on the highway.

The Hybrid versions of the Sonata can yield more fuel economy and emit less pollutants into the Southern Minnesota’s skies. With a combined 192 horsepower, you can still keep up with traffic while returning up to 54 MPG in the Blue model. Your Sonata Hybrid is available with a solar roof panel assisting in recharging the batteries.

For more performance, the Sonata N Line is designed to speed up your pulse. A powerful 290-horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, combined with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, takes the Sonata N Line into the next level. Getting up to 33 MPG on the highway is a huge bonus for the enthusiast at heart.
