2024 Hyundai Staria-Load Premium Specs & Features

Even though a lot of mainstream automotive brands are produced and distributed on a global platform, that doesn’t necessarily mean every single model is available in every market. But sometimes it’s fun to look at models available elsewhere to see what’s going on there, and what might be making its way here to North America. One vehicle available in several markets outside of North America, in particular Australia, is the Hyundai Staria-Load. It’s a futuristic minivan dripping with style and versatility. The automaker recently added a new variant, called the Staria-Load Premium, so we thought we’d take a look at its specs & features.

Design Cues
While the traditional Staria-Load is only available in Shimmering Silver and Creamy White, the new Premium variant is available in three additional exterior colors: Graphite Gray, Moonlight Blue and Abyss Black. The vehicle features 17” alloy wheels and some truly unique visuals around the exterior of the vehicle. As we mentioned, it’s certainly futuristic in aesthetic – although some of the unique design cues might just be foreign to us here in the U.S. For example, the handles of its rear doors are near the front of the vehicle instead of the rear, so that they’re adjacent to the handles of the front doors. Other cues leading to its futuristic design include its low front fascia and very tall rear lights.
Standard Features
These are some of the features that are standard in the new Staria-Load Premium variant:
- LED Headlights
- Smart Key with Push-Button Start
- Smart Power Tailgate
- Automatic Climate Control
- 10.25” infotainment system
- 10.25” digital instrument cluster
- Blind Spot Monitor
- High-Beam Assist
Could we see the Staria-Load Premium in the U.S.?
While they remain popular across the globe, in the North American marketplace minivans have seen a vast decline through the years. A couple of decades ago or more they were much more widespread, but whether it was negative stereotypes and stigmas or simply a lack of need, minivans decreased in popularity and began dropping like flies. There is still a place for the minivan body style here, as evidenced by models like the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna, but could the Staria-Load Premium make the jump to North America? It’s unlikely. What do you think, would you like to see the Staria-Load come to Hyundai of Mankato?
