2024 Santa Fe Teaser

The Hyundai Santa Fe has become one of the best SUVs on the market. Since first debuting in 2001, the trusty crossover has sold more than 2 million vehicles in the United States alone. 

For 2024, the all-new Santa Fe grows larger and becomes a true 7-seater vehicle. The new design is boxy and bold, with the total length growing by 1.8 inches to 190.2 inches. With a longer wheelbase at 110.8 inches, Hyundai says the Santa Fe will have more passenger space, and while we never got a 7-passenger Santa Fe in America, other countries did. However, that changes for the 2024 model year, as it heads stateside. 

The updated crossover also gets more cargo space behind the third row, too, with it being bumped up to 26 cu.ft. Second-row passengers will power seat adjustments, and third-row occupants will be able to recline their seats back by up to 10 degrees. Rear legroom will be 42.7 inches for the second row and 30 inches for the third row. Hyundai says that the third row now has a class-leading 37.72 inches of headroom. 

Safety 

The Santa Fe will come with Hyundai SmartSense, which features some of the best safety technology on the market, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Driver Monitoring System, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Rear View Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Front/Rear Parking Distance Warning, Surround View Monitor, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Safe Exit Assist.

Powertrains

Powering the all-new 2024 Santa Fe will be either a 2.5-liter Turbocharged 4-Cylinder producing 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, or the 1.6-liter Turbocharged Hybrid 4-Cylinder paired with a 6-speed automatic.
